This past summer of racing took the Webster Racing team across the country. This trip was made possible by a few close friends. While in the Seattle area for nearly a month the boat was able to rest and get the necessary work done at Billy Schumacher's shop. We would also like to thank Jack Sipila for housing and feeding us during that time period. Without their generosity this trip would not have been possible.

The summer has come and will soon be gone, but it didn't go by without some great racing action. The Webster team traveled the country this summer and raced at some of the largest venues in boat racing. The season started in Valleyfield Quebec; then to Detroit, MI; Tri-Cities, WA; Seattle, WA; Silverdale, WA; and finished up at May Landing, NJ. The season was a learning experience for the team dialing in the hull and optimizing the engines performance. Each race showed improvement and the hard work from the winter started to pay off. Mike Webster piloted the hull to several podium finishes and won the Wyatt's Watches Award for the best start of the weekend in Seattle. Plans for next season have already begun in preparation for an exciting 2007 race season.

The bottom of the boat is finished with a carbon fiber and natural wood finish. A special thank you goes out to all of the Antietam students and other friends that helped on their weekends to flip this monster over. With the boat sunny side up progress will continue and you can expect to see paint in the coming week. Summer is here and the boat is ready to get wet.
